My wife’s Christmas present was a 5gal Carboy, corks, an device to put corks into wine bottles and a book about [[Mead]] making.
The last weekend in 2012 we had the time to get 15lbs of honey and start our experiment to make Mead.
Right now I have a 5gal bucket of Honeywater mixed with yeast and yeast nutrient in my dining room bubbling every couple of seconds trough its air lock. Let’s hope it turns out good.
BTW: My Mead kept fermenting after bottling. I guess I was to impatient. Now i have bubbly Mead that shoots bottle corks at me when I shake it too much.
